I know you can have light box/fancy box and you get fanupdate but is there a program(you download on your server) where you can comment on others photo like you can on bebo and myspace? or a template you can put photos in fanupdate and the comment comes at the bottom?

Yes there is, if you are running your own website from either your own server or a hosting server. But your options are limited if you are wanting this in your "space" within someone else's Domain Name.

i am looking for a photo gallery/ album to put on a website. i want it to have like a thumnail and a large photo view and somthing that can be loaded fast with a slow internet

One of the best around is at www.bubbleshare.com

It is free, but you'll have to create an account. Your album is hosted on their website, but they provide a snippet of code that you can cut and paste into your own web page, so that your album appears in your own web site.
It's fast, easy and cool. (I'm not from the company).
