    I believe Elmo is 3, my 2nd guess would be 4. Some other facts - Mr. Hooper was the original store owner and his death broke hearts around the world, esp. big birds. You can still see a picture of him on the wall behind Big Birds nest. Also, way back in the day, BB was the only one who would see Snuffle Uppugus (and he didn't have a little sister Alice tagging along!)and everyone else thought he was just a make-believe friend.
