Talking Photo Album

I want to get some pictures from the internet of some final fantasy stuff, like where my Hero's or Movies section should be.. but i want pictures there instead. Do i have to find pictures and copy and paste the code?

We learned in physics today that something is physically incorrect with the photo and my professor left it to us to figure it out.

It has something to do with how light bends when hitting a prism.

If you have no idea what album Im talking about just google "Dark side of the moon".

Well for one, pink isn't a spectral color. As for being physically incorrect, the light refraction is inconsistent. The rays which are deviated the most in the picture have the least amount of bend at the second surface. When it should be that the rays deviated the most should also be refracted the most at each surface.

I am trying to find an easy way to archive photo albums to a digital format to be able to reproduce the pictures in case there is a fire or my photos get lost. I am talking about older photos, mostly from 35mm cameras, not ones taken with a digital camera. Does anyone have any ideas?

you could either use a scanner, or take photos of them using a digital camera. I used the second way frequently to archieve my photo albums.

I work with significantly disabled students and want them to click through slide shows with narration on PowerPoint (audio books with pictures). On the PC I can import large numbers of files very quickly with the Photo Album option and then include narration just by clicking on each slide and talking. It seems that the photo album (importing many files at one time) option is not available for the Mac version of PowerPoint. I've looked for other programs but no luck. The slide show should have on the fly narration options and be a final show that the child clicks through himself (not an automatically running show). Any suggestions? I would appreciate any ideas. Because I'm trying to set this up for disabled students, programs which are free or low cost would be preferable.

You are right -- there's no Photo Album feature on the Mac -- but you still have two options:

1. Do the import on a Windows machine (if you have access to one) -- and then you can use the same presentation on the Mac since the PowerPoint file format is just the same.

2. There's a third party add-in for the Mac that does just that -- I reviewed it last year -- here's the link:

I'm guessing your question was actually two questions -- one about the photos, and another about narration.

About narration, are you asking if there's a feature where the child hears the narration? Or are you asking for them to record the narration? Again, narration in PowerPoint for the Mac is not as well implemented as on Windows.
