Why wont my camera upload my photo's to my computer?
tabblo, #2

I have a kodak easyshare c813 digital camera and for some stupid reason it wont upload anymore. Like at all. Im gettin kinda mad. Does anyone know what might be going on?? I have a PC btw.

If you Use Kodak Easy Share programs below is some other information about seeing your camera in My Computer.

For a Windows XP operating system, it is not possible to see the camera as a drive letter when EasyShare software is installed. You can mount the camera as a drive using the Windows imaging acquisition (WIA) driver. To change from the Kodak driver to the WIA driver, do the following:

Connect and turn on the camera.

In the Transfer window, click Cancel.

On the desktop, right-click the My Computer icon, and then select Properties.

Select the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

click the + sign in front of Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then select the Kodak camera.

Select the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver.

Select Install from a list or specific location, and then click Next.

Select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install, and then click Next.

Select Digital Still Camera, and then click Next.

Click Finish.

is there a freeware program that will let me upload photo and video from my digital photo camera?

i have a kodak easyshare camera that takes pictures and video. the program it came with is kodak easyshare something. the problem is that is takes f o r e v e r to load. i need something faster. but i've tried other freeware programs and all they upload or recognize is photo files. i need something that is free and can do both. any ideas?
i tried the camera and ... wizard thing. it didn't even recognize my camera.

The fastest and easiest way I have found is to just remove the memory card from the camera itself and plug it into a USB card reader and let Windows open it up in a new folder. You can then decide what you want to do from there.

Alternatively, download this freeware Picasa2. Its a digital photo management software. Remember its a freebie plus it has lots of other cool features....http://www.geocities.com/lcming/Digitalp hotography

How can I zoom with my digital camera after I've taken the photo and upload the result in its "zoomed form"?

As the question states, I'd like to be able to do this with my camera: after taking a photo on my digital camera I'm able to view it and further zoom in on it; however, I'm unable to upload the "zoomed image" to my computer but only the original. How can I go about accomplishing this?

Thank you in advance.

Im not sure that you can do it that way, but most programs like photoshop and ms photo editor allow you to zoom in on the pic after you have uploaded the original onto your computer.

Camera wont automatically upload photo's to camera like it usually does?

Usually when i plug it in it will just start uploading photos automatically, but now for some reason it wont, however the computer is recognising that it is plugged in. Does anyone have any suggestions on why it is doing this all of a sudden?

Start by rebooting your computer.

If that doesn't work, reinstall the software.

My personal preference is this:

Don't bother with cables or special software!

The easiest and best method to download photos and video from your camera to your computer is via a little USB card reader (which are quite cheap these days).

Card readers also work for moving photos from the computer onto a card.

Plug the reader into a USB port and insert the memory card.
It will show up as a drive, and you can simply drag and drop the photos across to the folder of your choice.

Why can I no longer upload my camera photos to Facebook?

I used to be able to upload photos from my camera as a text to FBOOK (32665). Now I can't do it. I get an error message by return text. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks.
I left out a very important bit of information... I am trying to upload photos from my phone (not a camera). Sorry!

So, you know when you’re out with your friends celebrating a birthday party, or a bachelorette party, or, um, the fact that it’s Tuesday and you’ve made it through the day? And inevitably, someone gets everyone together and takes a group shot of everyone enjoying themselves? And then, they flip the camera around to see how the picture turns out, and everyone agrees that it’s “awesome”! And thennnn, that person promises to email you a copy or post it on Facebook — but they kind of never do? And you maybe sort of want to nag them about posting it but you don’t want to seem pushy… so you wait a few weeks and they still don’t post it, and by then you figure that they probably have better things going on than posting a picture, so you kind of forget it (although secretly, in the back of your mind, you know that if it was you that was in charge of posting it, you would have done it by now)?

Yeah, I’ve been there, too. (Um, obviously.) I realize that sometimes it just takes effort to find the cord to connect your camera to your computer, upload and sort the pictures, take out the ones where someone’s eyes are closed/someone’s not looking/someone’s talking, and then send them around for everyone else to see. I get it. I understand that you’d rather be watching Gossip Girl than dealing with that mess.
