Digital camera photo developing at stores help please!?

you know how you can digitally develop pictures at a store? like, i think you connect your memory card from your digital camera to it, and pick the ones you want printed and then they print them out for you, like in an hour? is that how it works?
How much does it cost per picture?
and if thats not how it works, can you please inform me on the process?
Thank you !

Walmart prints are .15 cents each. If you can wait a few days use the Fuji kiosk. Thet are also .15 cents but much bettor quality and free delivery to the store.
The Walmart prints are a hit or miss for me. Sometimes they are good some times not so good. Pick up the Walmart download DVD while you are at the store. You can send your prints on line and pick them up in an hour. Many photo labs have this service.Look for either Kodak or Fuji developing service they are the best IMHO.

Digital camera photo developing - several sizes of one pose - sheets of wallet-sized, etc.?

We just bought our first digital camera. In the past we've taken our kids to Walmart or Sears Portrait Studio and bought their $10-$15 package, where you get about forty pictures of various sizes, all one pose. I'm thinking that with a digital camera you choose your pictures and buy them by the sheet, but has anyone ever heard of a place that will give you a deal on a "package" of all one pose, such as a couple of 8X10s, a couple of 5X7s and a couple dozen wallet-sized photos. And a second question, where is a good place to get digital photos developed in general? We're more concerned with getting them inexpensively than getting them done while we wait, and we do have internet connection, although it's dial-up, and rather slow. Thank you. - Stephanie

I use Walgreen's to get my digital prints. You can upload your photos to their website (your private page) and then crop and enhance them if you want using their software. Then you choose how many copies of each you get printed. You can either pick them up at a local Walgreen's or they will send them to you for a bit extra. Its 19 cents per 4x6 print or 15 cents if you order 100 or more. I usually wait until I have 100 to print (I get lots of copies for family not living nearby). I have always been pleased with the prints I've got from there and find the website easy to use. However, uploading may take a while with a dial-up. I've just had a look at the website and they do a family pack (4.99)and an ultimate value pack (9.99) which are the sort of thing you are looking for. They've also got a Halloween offer on, buy 25 4x6 photos, get 25 free!

How do I get digital photos from my camera to an actual photo that I can place in a frame or album?

I have some great photos on my new digital camera, but I don't know what to do next. How do I get actual photographs? I have a computer, but not a color printer. Can I just take the camera or the memory card to a camera shop or the drug store and have photos "developed" like I used to with film? How does all of this work? Any help is appreciated!

Take the memory card to the local drugstore and use their system. They will be there to help if you have any questions but it is pretty simple.

You choose the pics, the size, the crop, etc. And in 3 or 4 minutes they will have everything printed up and in a bag for you.

How much do you pay for digital photos developed - and where please (in uk) ?

Today i had the photos in my digital camera developed. It`s first time i`ve done this as i haven`t had the camera long. I had about 70 pictures in it and it cost me ÂŁ18 - is that a lot ? It seemed a lot. After the whole process was over the assistant who`d been helping me said, "well you could have got em cheaper if you`d got em smaller but it`s too late now, if you want to change size of em you`ll have to go thru em all again !" Apparently she clicked for me to have them a bigger size (without even asking me what size i wanted) I didn`t fancy being stuck in the shop any longer - i`d been there about half an hour already - so i just left it and paid the 18 quid. Does anyone know which is cheapest place for this please ? I love taking photos and now i`m in the swing of it i hope to be taking hundreds. I`m in uk. Thanks.

Complain to head office if thats a big company, because that was shoddy customer service.
I use Snappy Snaps and they're really helpful. Small prints (4 x 6") are about a tenner for a hundred.
There are loads of websites where you can compare companies and prices. Look out for Jessops Camera shops, they're supposed to be good too.

How should I develop digital photos at a photo store?

I wasn't sure how to word this question. Okay, my dad has a hgh quality digital camera and uploaded pics that I want developed on quality photo paper. I suppose I have to do this at CVS or Walgreen's. Do I have to first burn the photos onto a CD and take them to a photo developer?

no, most places you can take the camera in, pull out thememory card {usually cf or microdrive on the high end cams} and stik the card straight into the card reader... works out well, or you can upload them onto your personal computer, and send them to print via the web... walmart, walgreens, target all do this, and im sure many other places do also. @ walmart, you can order the prints to be ready in an hour, and pick them up at the store.. works out nice, and theyre prints in general arent to bad

  • Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S with Instant Photo Processing

I recently had flashbacks of the old school Polaroid cameras we remember growing up – you take a photo and it prints instantly; cool idea but never really remained popular as photo quality became more important to photo enthusiasts. Fujifilm has enjoyed a bit of success in Asia and Europe over the past several years with similar cameras, but in September, 2009 released the first Instax line of “Polaroid-esque” cameras with instant photo printing capability in the US. Let's take a closer look.

I recently got my hands on the Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S, which is the compact model in the Instax line, and I was excited to go back in time to the days when you took a photo, it instantly printed it, and then you shook it like crazy to try and get it to develop quicker – now that's real photo processing!

I received my Instax 7S with two boxes (20 exposures each) of instant film to try out. I've seen the double pack (20 exposures) of film online for around $15-$20, and there is also a single pack (10 exposures) available for slightly less.
