Digital Camera Picture Frame

With a disposible digital camera, you take pictures and have it develop. However there is no memory card like a regular digital camera has. However when you develop a disposable digital camera the retail store that develops it sometimes can have the images onto a CD for you.


With a CD you can copy your picture files onto a memory card. From there just insert your memory card to the back of the digital picture frame and the pictures will show up. There is no easy way to transfer images from a disposable digital camera onto a digital picture frame. This is the only way I could think of.

Yes, as long as the scanned photos are in a format consistent with what the frame will accept, typically jpeg. So if you scan a photo to a non-normal format, it might cause a problem.

Frames may come with software to allow you to resize/shrink an image so you get the best quality with the smallest file space. That may save you some time in prepping images for the frame.

the camera for connectivity to transfer photo's from the camera to picture frame and could I not use a usb connection .

There may be a program that came with your digital picture frame that moves images files from device to device. It may be you will have to move your images from the memory card to your computer first before you can send them to the frame.

One of the websites says that there are slots for SD, MS, and CF cards on the frame itself. It did not say anything about if the slot allows transfer of images to the frames internal memory.

All this should be in the instruction booklet that come with your frame.

I bought a digital photo frame for someone who has no computer or digital camera. How can I get the pictures I have on my computer onto a memory card for the frame?

Hi chjurgens,

You can buy a memory card reader for a few dollars at anyplace that sells computer items. It will connect to your USB port. You will plug the memory card into the reader and connect it to your computer where you can upload pictures to it.

Are you sure the picture frame doesn't have a USB port? Mine does and I can plug it into the computer and edit my pictures.

Most digital picture frames will read the cards you use for your digital camera. I routinely erase the cards when I download the pictures on them to my PC. I want to copy or download pictures from my PC to a card for the frame.

You can do one of these two options

1) Get a media card reader and put pictures on the card from your computer using it

OR

2) Plug your USB cord into your camera, turn it on, and you should be able to put pictures on its card.
