Digital Camera Picture Printing

i want to learn the best way to print pictures from my digital camera , what better do it yourself or printing it at a store , i mean save money buying ink , i heard of laser printer , they don't take ink, more info would be appreciate. my digital camera is kodak

Honestly the easiest way is to buy a printer and do it yourself. In terms of money, you only save a couple cents a print when you take them to a store. If you think you'll be printing photos often a laser printer is best in the long run when talking about quality and money savings. It's better quality also. The prints are completely waterproof. The printers are expensive as is the toner, but the toner does not dry out, like inkjet ink, so it lasts indefinitely. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend an HP photoprinter that uses 02 series ink. They are the consistently the best inkjet photoprinters. Keep in mind that inkjet ink is waterbased and will dry out. Plus your printer will run dry quickly if you want to print out lots of photos.

ok, this may sound stupid but I dont know how to print or however you do it in Walgreens. I have had so many pictures from digital camera and so now I want to actually print them, like you know how you go to Walgeens and you bring you digital camera with you and pritn it there, I dotn know how to do it, like could you explain what your suppose to do, thank you!

They should have a self service kiosk there, probably a Kodak one (Duane Reade stores have a different brand, i think its Fugi; i've only used one in Duane Reade once, but they all work about the same).

You take the memory card out of the camera (if you don't have a memory card, Some of the kiosks will let you hook it up with the cable, like you would use to transfer them to your computer, not all of them do though). You find the slot for your kind of memory card, pop it in, touch the screen and follow the directions, the kiosk walks you through it and they employees Should be trained to help you.

They are really easy to use, the quality is good and most of them will print your photos right there at the kiosk, pretty much instantly (some machines are "pick up later" though, just make sure you ask beforehand if you're in a hurry)

my printer can directly hook up to my camera memory stick and print out the pictures but i dont want to waste ink, considering i have a LOT of pictures to scrapbook. Is there somewhere i can get digital camera pictures printed out for a very cheap price?

also, how much would it cost to start and buy ALL the starting materials to scrapbook. WHat do i need?

it is probably cheaper in the long run to have them printed then having to buy in cartridges for you printer.....

I would think that just about any place that develops pictures can make pictures from you memory stick or a CD....

I would suggest that you use your computer and go through the pictures and pick the ones you want printed....

if you have a Costco membership they are pretty reasonable for prints... I am sure that wal-mart would be pretty low in cost too....

I have the following photo printer & digital camera
SAMSUNG DIGITAL PHOTO PRINTER SPP-2020
NIKON DIGITAL CAMERA COOLPIX 7600

Everytime I connect the printer cable from the printer into my camera ready to print off pictures the camera instantly cuts out and remains blank screened and on stand by mode until I then take the cable out again. I don't have a clue why I cannot print my pictures it is the first time I have attempted to do so. I am not familiar with cameras. If anybody is able to help me please can you give me step by step on how i successfully print giving details to guide me. I am not printing using my pc in any way. The printer is specifically to print photos direct from the camera. Serious answers only please. Thanks

Well I hope you have the manual..The printer works by recieving data from the memory card in side your camera ..Some printers require the memory card to be taken out and directly put into the printer port then by accessing the power and print button on your printer it will print directly from the memory card of the camera..If that doesnt work try booting up the software to your computer it might have to go from the camera thru the dock port to the computer then from the software included to the printer by the print function on your pc....Hey I tryed to help...just boot up the software and connect the camera to the dock and the printer to the pc... see what happens try the memory card thing first..just remove it from the camera and see if it fits into the printer some where..it should say memory card slot if there the same brand..
