Photo Camera Radar

From what distance can those things give you a ticket?

I have seen the pictures it is amazing at the distance and clarity, I would say if it took your picture , you are caught.*

i was driving down the highway and a radar camer lit up a little, but was not a big flash like i usually see. i am not sure if it was my headlights reflecting off of it, or if i was not bright at all because it was the day time.

They don't use a flash. No, it's not obvious if you get caught.

You spray it on your plate and when you go pass a red light the glossy spray reflects the camera light and your license plate shows up blurry and you avoid a ticket.

i own a shop and it works it just make the picture real blurry ,just enough so that they cant make out the license plate,but it wont hold up long if it rains a lot or you wash it a few times it looses it ability to create a good glare,but it does work,good luck i hope this helps.

in california are these the only violations that you can get a ticket in the mail. For all other violations you have to be pulled over right?

The only citations which are currently authorized in California by means other than the officer stopping the driver and issuing a citation are red light camera tickets. I don't know what you mean by "photo radar," but if it refers to speeding, that is NOT authorized. There was a proposal to allow a pilot project, but it was never enacted.

Does anyone know where the PHOTO RADAR speed trap cameras are in the Montreal area. One which highways and where (at which location)?

No they don't and thats the point. The photo radars are mostly set up in moving locations so that people don't know where they are to avoid them. The simple thing is, don't speed and you won't need to worry.
