Hows your budget? Try Linhof or Hassleblad, or Canon or Nikon.

I really like photography.
Not like scenery but taking picture of people and right now i have a normal digital camera and I'm planning on buying a "professional camera" soon.
I don't know anything about photography. I just kinda..point and shoot.
So what would be the best camera for a beginner.
I've heard the Nikon D60 is a really good camera for a beginner. What makes the Nikon D60 great for beginners?
What qualities in cameras should I look for to take great pictures of people?
A "beginner" DSLR would probably be your best bet. Whether you choose Nikon or Canon or Pentax, there are great beginner ones available. Nikon and Canon have nice kits available at Costco that include a couple of lenses (usually something like an 18-55mm and a 50-200mm).
I can't speak specifically to the D60, but it has all the DSLR features such as interchangeable lenses, all the right modes, the ability to use a hot-shoe flash, RAW mode, etc. Same with the Canon and Pentax beginner bodies.
In reality, lenses and training are going to be more important. The camera body won't matter a whole lot if there's lousy glass in front of it or a snapshot eye behind it. You might want to do some reading about portraiture. Or photojournalism if you're just going to go out and take pictures of people you don't know (candid).

I want to get more involved with my photography. I really like black and white photography but I also really like color photography. I want a digital camera. One that would work well with adobe photoshop elements 6 (that's all I have right now). Any suggestions and links would be helpful. Also, I would want a camera where I could actually go to the store and buy it. I don't want to buy it over the internet. Thanks!
I think that you would be happy with eith

I really like taking photos. I'm also actually good at it. I only have a digital camera but I want to get an actual photography camera. I don't know which type to get. Olympus? Canon? Please help me and give me a link to a site where you can buy the camera (sensible price please). Thank you!
"Film" not "Photography" camera.
The best type is Large Format view cameras.
Roll film is popular too. Any major brand SLR camera will do fine. I like Nikon SLRs because you have access to a legacy of lenses that goes back decades.
Nikon N90s, Nikon FG, and Nikon F3HP are good choices.
Next year I'll be taking a photography class in school. Considering my birthday is soon, I figured that I'd get it now. We really don't have that much money, so what is a cheap (or decently priced) photography camera that takes good pictures? Thanks.
You may want to check with your counselor/teacher about what kind of camera you need. Are you sure you're not supposed to have a 35mm FILM camera?
Be sure to check!!! At my HS, everyone has to have film cameras.
Anyway (happy birthday, btw--mine was Saturday), it depends on how much cash you have.
~less than $100--not sure I can help here. Check out craigslist for your area if you only have like $50 to spend. You can probably pick up a 5 megapixel camera for $20 or so
~$100-200 I suggest the Fuji s5700. It's on sale at CIrcuit city right now for $150.
If you can afford a DSLR, go for it!
btw, I would stay far away from Kodak cameras. From my experience, they take the noisiest pictures ever!! (noisy meaning grainy)
Don't shop just based on how many megapixels the camera features. Kodak, for example, is bad with this--their cameras usually offer high MPs for low prices, but you get what you pay for.
Once you find a model online that you think you'd like, check out www.flickr.com and look up the camera model to see some sample shots by that camera to see what it's capable of.
Good luck!!
