How do I make my digital camera photos look like a pro took them?
Im reading people doing it online by reflecting light with mirrors and editing them. But how would you do that?

Good is a relative expression of quality.
If you use a digital zoom, the quality of the pictures does go down but it may be fine for your applications. If nothing else this does sound like it gives you much more flexibility out of your existing equipment. That could come in handy. If this is worth it to you is your call.

I need the back ground around the earrings to be white. Right now i'm using a sheet of white printer paper and laying the earrings on the paper in bright sunlight and then using the transparency wand in powerpoint to make the gray background perfectly white. it's ok, but i really need a better method. any tips?

If the earrings are flat, you could get far better results with just a scanner. Place the earrings on a scanner and a piece of white paper behind them. The lighting of the scanner is great for jewelry.

I took tons of photo's of stuff for ebay and the camera accidentally got unplugged. XP being stupid didn't bother to think I might need them.

I plugged the camera back in and went into My Computer> Camera and the photo's are gone.

This is SO INFURIATING.

Does anyone know if they are stored somewhere else?
I tried searching for:
*.jpg
*.jpe*
*.bmp

Nothing found.

i think u lost them. webcam pics go to clipboard (ram) and then to hard disk when clipboard is full. depending on the camera, xp might have made copy to temporary folder.
try to search for *temp* folders

my friend is letting me borrow his to take to Europe where i want to get some pics of the soccer match i am going too. The last time i went to a game the pictures of the players came out all blurry. this camera confuses the hell out of me, there are so many buttons. I was wondering if someone could walk me through how to set the camera up to take pictures of people running around without it getting all blurry

Blurry says that you are shooting at too low a shutter speed.

Set your camera to aperture priority, open the aperture fully and raise your cameras ISO until you can shoot at 1/250th second or faster.

You really need to take a proper class in photography ... your camera is no different than a 35mm SLR camera but uses a sensor instead of film.
