Camera Sony W150

I recently purchased a Sony DSC W150 camera. There are soo many fake Chinese built fake sony cameras in market here in Sri Lanka. I just want to know if there are any possible ways how I can make sure the camera i purchased is an originally a Sony made one. Thanks in advance...god bless

Contact 'Sony'. Keep your serial number in hand. This is the only error-less and sure way to know.

I had a look at both cams yesterday and two vendors had mixed ideas. One favoured Nikon and the other Sony. But i took sample pics and on the screen, Sony's picture looked so natural and colorful but Nikon's image (same object) was sharp but did not look as natural as that of Sony's. Sony has View Finder etc. PLease tell me which camera is the best. I want to buy one today itself before xmas.

i'm making the same decision (but with the nikon s560).
another difference i noticed is the battery -- coolpix takes 160 shots on a single charge and the cybershot takes about 400 (according to the packages). coolpix charges in about 2 hours.

im thinking of getting this camera is it good for taking videos of sports or dancing? because i breakdance and play basketball and i want to be able to record these events. i want the video to be clear enough. will this be ok? is there another camera anyone could suggest? that would be great. thanks guys!

The SONY DSC-W150 is a digital camera, and a very POOR one at that.

I'm pretty sure you mean digital video camera....like a canon XH A1.

My sony DSC-W150 camera isn't taking any pictures. The camera works and everything but the screen is completely black! I take photos and everything but you can't see what your taking. Annoying seeing its New Years Eve! It snot just the screen because i can view photos that bi previously took What's The problem?

it needs repaired by a service center
