Camera Sony

Basically, some setting got changed on my camera by accident the other night.
I have a sony dsc h7.
When my camera is connected to my laptop via the usb connection and the program box pops us that asks me how i want to download the photos and where I want to download the photos
....
the option to checkmark the box that says "delete pictures from my device after copying them" doesn't allow me to checkmark it anymore
...
which means i keep downloading the same photos over and over again ( unless i go into my camera and delete them from there). Is there a setting I need to look for on my computer or a setting i need to look for in my camera or what?

that may depend on the program you use to copy the photos to your pc. I would first go to that program and check out option/setings to see if it can be resolved via your computer. I just bought the H7 myself and have yet to come across any settings within the camera that allow you to delete the photos after uploading them to a memory source, like your hardrive. That's not to say the camera cannot be set up that way, but I have yet to see that option. I would tell you though, that I will likely never use my pc for deleting photos from my camera. I did so on my previous Sony camera (P200) and it left a few photos in the camera memory, not allowing me to delete them at all.. causing them to always show up when uploading photos to my pc. It is quite easy to delete all photos from the H7 (click on the sideways 'triangle in a box' button that allows you to review your photos, click "menu", then scroll over two times to "delete all" and your done). It's a small inconvenience to assure you don't change settings in your camera that cannot be changed back.

I want to purchase a new camera - Sony cybershot only. Which model will let you zoom in and out using the movie mode feature?

i just received my dsc-w350 and it is a cybershot and it does zoom in video mode and the video mode is 720p hd. and it has a panorama picture option. ran 200 dollars

I would like to purchase new digital camera Sony / Nikon / Canon; so could you please suggest me what are the key aspects I should inspect before I purchase like lenses type, optical zoom, Digital zoom and etc?

If you are looking for an adjustable camera, then it is important to choose a camera that can use the most variety of lenses and bodies .... this will give you the most flexibitliy as you build a system.

If you are looking for a P&S camera, then the Nikon and Canon cameras use the most common memory card .. the SD.

Look for a camera that has at least a 3x optical zoom (forget any reference to digital zoom .. ), has at least a 6MP sensor, and either a viewfinder or SI feature (both is better). If you an afford a camera that uses the state of the art Li-ion battery, so much the better.

I really like the Sony w120, but my Dad is trying to convince me that the Kodak 863 is better because of cost. My sister has it and I will say its nice looking, but I've been told by sales reps that Kodak is printer quality only, and Sony has the best lenses making a better picture taker. If you have other model suggestions I will take them. I like the in-camera red eye fix, stabilization, smile shutter mode, face detection and auto focus features.

Sony is the best company for cameras or electronics.
