well your camera sould be able to go to your computer several ways.

most cameras can go to a computer via USB port. The camera goes in its cradle (to charge) and from the cradle there is a slot for one end of a specific wire to go and the other end of the wire is USB. sometimes this can also be done via firewire (in SONY's case iLink).

Or

your camera will accept theses types of cards:

Memory stick Duo
Memory stick PRO Duo.

You can ave to the card and then put the card into your computer. You may need a adaption deal to go from the card to the computer.

if your computer does not read mormorystick Duo cards then you might need something like what is above.

But your memory stick Duo card should come with a converter so any computer that can read SD cards will also be able to read you Memory stick card.

but maybe not.

there's gonna be a meteor shower in like an hour or two and I need to take some awesome pictures!!! im so excited but I dont really know how to do the camera's settings for a perfect meteor shower shots. Anyone with DSLR cameras please give me some advice? Thank you!

To get the streaking effect for the meteors you're going to use a long shutter speed and a tripod - a longer shutter speed is going to capture more of the meteors. And using a large f-stop makes the stars are brighter.

Then all you've gotta do i wait for them to come down while the shutter is open

IMO the best feature of the A200 is the in-camera image stabilization. Plus the fact that Sony has a Carl Zeiss T* line of lenses. Also, the ability to use every legacy Minolta Maxxum AF lens made since 1985 is a major plus.

Cons?

You'll never have to pay for image stabilization when you buy a lens.

You'll be different from the Nikon/Canon herd.

Does anyone know how we can get an image to appear on the viewer, we only have the menu! We can get a picture to show up after we have taken one but can not see what photo we are taking!

It's called Live View and the A200 doesn't have that feature.
Only newer models do, like the A350 (and the Nikon D90, the Canon Rebel XSi, etc.).

Amazon.com probably has the best price. A few months ago I bought a Canon Powershot SD950 from Amazon.com, and got it for about $30 cheaper than I could find on any other reliable online store or any walk-in retail store.
