Vivitar Camera

Where can I find the software for the Vivitar 3350B camera?
I lost the CD that came with it.

Why do you need software?
The Camera does not need special software for you to use.
If you just want to upload images, just plug the camera into the USB on your computer and let Windows find it as a mass storage device.
Then just open up the folders as they appear until you get to your images.

Its a Vivitar v2000 and i cant seem to find other lenses online for it. Or what other brands fit on it... like my sony digital fits minolta lenses im sure you know.. but thats what i mean. I came into some darkroom equiptment and want to start using this camera and brush the dust off it.

The Vivitar V2000 uses a Pentax K-mount. Look for Pentax K-mount lenses for your 35mm camera. You can find K-mount lenses at KEH.com, BHphotovideo.com.

I would also check Craigslist.org for your area.

There's also ebay, but I don't like recommending them for lenses, as the sellers tend to vary wildly in the accuracy of the stuff they sell.

ive have borrowed a vivitar 3800n slr camera from college how do i remove the film now that ive finished it i know how to put new ones in but not take it out ?

not to sure but i have an idea. is there a small black button on the bottom of the camera if yes hold this in or push it in, then turn the dial which is directly above where the film is - you should be able to hear it rewinding as you do this, when it stops making a noise the film is rewound. pull the dial up to open the back of the case if there is no button on the side.

How do I transfer pictures from my Vivitar (ViviCam 5386)digital camera to my computer???

I read the spec for ViviCam 5386 and I found out the camera uses SD memory card and the camera connects to PC via USB port and all cameras have USB connection cable

Get your user manual if you have it or go to the manufacturer site and download it. Read the section which talks transferring pictures to PC. The reason I say this, there might be buttons or switches you have to turn.

Turn off your camera. Get the transfer cable and connect the camera to the PC (USB) port and turn on the camera. There will be a pop out window and copy the pictures. Once you finished copying, stop the connection on the lower left side of the task bar. Turn off the camera and remove the cable.
Again see the user manual.

If you do not have this cable you have two options with your SD memory card:

1) If you have newer model PC (assuming desk top), remove the SD Card and plug it to the appropriate slot and there will be a pop out window and copy the pics.

2): If you do not have a SD card slot in your PC, buy a SD Card Reader from best buy or circuit city. I would buy a multi memory card reader (for future) if money is not tight.
Remove the SD card and plug it to the reader. Connect the reader to the PC or lap top USB port and there will be a pop out window and copy the pics.

You are done
