Vivitar Dvr

i bought the vivitar dvr 550 and want to mail my photos to a family member. how do i get my pictures out? do i buy a photo printer? or take my camera to the shop? if i have to buy a photoprinter what photo printer do i buy? does it matter? what photo printer works well with the cam corder? please help me?

Did it come with software & a manual?? You NEED TO READ THE MANUAL!!

I connect it to the laptop and start a video chat with aim but no video shows up.

See page 63 of the manual. Although I got video in Skype, I could not get audio. Had to use external mike. Anyone know how to get audio?

I've looking everyone where for instructions in the users manual and online. Especially on the website (they dont even have a support page for it!!!)
And its not that I NEED webcam, I just like to be able to use all of the features when I pay for electronics. (Isn't that why they ADD the features to begin with?) I don't see why it should be this hard :\
I've been looking everywhere (typo earlier)

it was supposed to have come with a cd. this cd is the driver for the webcam function. put the cd in the computer. than on your desktop click on my computer and then right click on the one that says dv. then click open. than click on the folder that says "setup". than click on the one that says "setup. it will guide you trough the process. when it is finished and the camcorder is plugged it click on the "record / play" button on the camcorder. it might then do hardware updated. when that is finished you are ready to use it as a webcam.

I was going to buy one on HSN website but it was sold out. And i went to the Vivitar website and tried to find any store that sold any of those but the closest thing they had was Vivitar DVR 530. I want the latest version of the camcorder (which is 560 but i'll buy 550 if i cant find it). Do any of u have a clue where they sell those camcorders? Thank u.

When I go to plug my camera in to charge via usb to mini usb, into my computer, the light turn's orange, and the windows pop up with the folders from my camera. But as soon as I unplug it, and try to turn it on, it wont. Any suggestions?
