Vivitar Software

Is there somewhere online where I could download the software for the Vivitar Camera? I lost the CD and I'm trying to put the program on a new computer.

That software disk that the vivitar mini digital camera comes with, what is it called?

They're called "drivers", all hardware (printers, scanners, cameras, etc) need drivers in order to communicate with the computer.

The software usually comes with the hardware on a CD, although a lot of hardware will work if it's just plugged into the computer because windows already has the "generic" drivers. I don't think it is supported any longer.

I have no idea who the original manufacturer of this particular camera was because I have an identical one except it's not a Vivitar, it's an Xtech, and I've seen them in stores with at leas half a dozen different names. You could contact Vivitar:

Posted a question earlier about obtaining the manual and received a good response. Now need the software/CDrom in order to download pictures on to my PC. This is what happens when you buy stuff off Ebay!

If your camera uses memory cards to store photos, you can use a memory card reader to download the photos to your computer. As a side benefit, using a memory card reader will also conserve the camera's battery.

For managing, viewing, and printing your photos, that are lots of free software online. Here's a couple of popular ones:

when i first bought my Vivtar Mini Digital Camara it installed the software but after it was done i could not find it.

I had the same problem. When they started selling them in Walgreen's there was a display with a phone number for Vivitar Tech Support. Call them at 800 391 2970 (copied off the Vivitar point of sale display).

I lost the cd that came with it, and I got a new computer, and I cant download my pictures without the software. Its the really small keychain digital camera. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

I don't see Vivitar Mini listed, but if you have a model number you should be able to get what you need here:
