Who is a good, affordable wedding photographer in Arizona?

Can anyone recommend a really good wedding photographer in Arizona who isn't super expensive? I'm a photographer myself, so I'm really picky. But it seems like all the good photographers I see are way out of my budget. :(

Define "good," and define "affordable." What dollar amount equals affordable to you?

What I suggest you do is simply open up the yellow pages, and start interviewing photographers. Call them up and see if they have a website, that will allow you to see their portfolio, and many will even put pricing on there. Ask if they are willing to discount their prices in any way, see if there's any packages or if you pay up front will they take off a percentage? (it's knowing they have your money vs. having to send you a bill and wondering if they'll get it)

I work in a bridal salon, and I tell brides all the time that photography is the 1 thing that lasts--not the flowers, not the food, nothing else lasts past the wedding day. You might want to consider re-working your budget to get the photographer you really want--I'd scale back on just about anything else to get good photography. Good luck!

"Lifestyle photography" is the when you take an everyday sort of activity and recreate it for the purpose of photography. It's usually put to use the most in advertising, like a mother and daughter baking cookies in order to sell an oven. But it's also used a lot in engagement photos, family portrait sessions, etc.

I agree with the comments about "trashing the dress", I am a huge fan of recyling wedding dresses. I have told many brides that its actually better to reuse the wedding gown rather than to wear it once and then just dump or distroy the gown. Think about that for one momment if you will… about the time people put into making the gown, packing the gown ( carefully ) , the people who put the gowns on hangers and sell them. Or if the gown was made by seamstress or someone you know. The time into making it, and all of that just to trash the gown?? Sometimes trashing the gown wont take the stains out or dirt or even paint on these...
