Beach Wedding Photographer

Does anyone know of a good photographer for a wedding to be held in Palm Beach Gardens in the spring? Reasonably priced. Ideally would want someone who gives you the CD of the photos included.

The ceremony was over and now the photographer is taking pictures of the couple while the sun sets.

We're thinking of moving up our wedding date & getting married at Myrtle Beach while on vacation in August...any helpful suggestions, anything at all you can tell me that will help me make this a memorable occasion & what I can do to have it go without a hitch would be MUCH appreciated! Do we get a magistrate? How about finding a wedding photographer? Thanks for any help you can give me!

Okay I've just gotten engaged, and I am trying to find a photographer that is really great and has a journalistic/magazine feel to his style. A photographer that is good at capturing people when they are not posed all the time would be ideal. If anyone knows someone great like that, please let me know! I am not trying to pay a million dollars though. My budget is 3k-6k.

This is really up to you, hun. Do you prefer candids (photojournalistic style)? Or do you prefer posed pictures?

Most people opt for both, but the current trend is the photojournalistic style. I would do the requisite posed pictures with the entire party on the beach. Maybe have them kick off their heels in the sand and capture the beach feeling of sun, surf and sand. Then, after those are done, have the photographer follow you guys on the beach kissing, running in the waves, get shots of you guys walking near the shore hand-in-hand. Those are the pictures that usually turn out the best, and that you want on your wall.

I would look at various photographer's wedding portfolios online and save the ones that catch your eye. This will help you to also figure out what style you want. Then tell this to your own photographer, but also allow for his or her input, especially if they specialize in wedding photography. Incorporate his/her ideas as well as your own, and you'll have so many beautiful pictures to choose from.

If you're not at all picky and want to put the judgment completely in the photographer's hand, I'd say go for that as well. But if you know of certain shots you want (group shots including certain people) also outline those as well. Your photographer will want a list of everyone that is to be photographed so that they aren't left out.
