In the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, or Quad Cities area would be fine. Not looking necessary for the photographer to do a large ceremon/reception but mostly just portraits of a bride and groom in an outdoor setting. Suggestions? Thanks!
Are any of these photographers close to you? If not they will probably travel. The second link are all in Cedar Rapids. I recommend to just start meeting with photographers. Look at their work and see if it matches what you are looking for. Also see how well your personalities match up. It is very important for both you and your fiance to get along and like your photographer because you will be spending all day with them and if there is tension it will show in your photos. I met with about 7 photographers before I found the one for us. And the minute I met him I knew. Terrific work, very exclusive and we all got along so well. Good luck to you, I know how difficult it can be finding a photographer.

A few weeks ago during Christina and Brenton’s wedding ceremony I saw a petite young woman sitting on the grass. She arrived in street clothes and hooked up the audio equipment. The next thing I knew she had done a Superman-speedlike of a wardrobe change into a simple black dress. It didn’t occur to me until I saw her later that she the We started the company with the goal of doing for other brides & grooms exactly what we wanted when we got married. The business grew so rapidly we both left our full- time jobs within a few months and we haven’t looked back since! We have 5 other DJs working for us now as well, and this wedding season we did 3 or 4 weddings each weekend. We anticipate that growing to 6 or 7 next year, based on the rate at which we’re currently we’re booking.
