Detroit Wedding Photography

Does anyone know a nice place for wedding photographs in the bloomfield/detroit/dearborn area? I would prefer something that's fairly private?

I have too many calls. (I did hire one extra Photographer) I'm booked up all year but all I can charge is 2,500 dollars per wedding (Average) My winter weddings are 950 per wedding. They get 200 pictures....two CDs....Two DVDS with music....20 8x10s. All weddings get engagement Photos. I do the pictures at the Hair Salon all the way until after midnight. We have a 15% unemployment rate in my area so me getting 1,200 dollars is outstanding. Detroit does not have money.
Four years ago we got 3,000 per wedding.
Husban and his wife Plus one Photographer.
That is I average 1,200 after the end of the year.
People here in the Detroit area have very little money. Very little.

Isn't it wonderful to be all booked up? If you're in that high demand, your skills must be outstanding, so raise your rates. If people can't afford it, it may be time to relocate? Your state's unemployment rate is only 2 1/2 points higher than mine (California) and people pay through the nose for good photography. Cost of living is way higher here too.

I do not profess to know all the circumstances to why you cannot charge more, but have you given it a try?
