I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding the other day which had a unique schedule. The ceremony was pretty early followed by an early reception. After all that we went out for pictures. This setup allowed us to catch some of the evening light, and as far as photo quality goes it is ideal. All day it was either raining or acting as if it would, until we began shooting. The skies opened up and gave some wonderful colors.
Connie was a a real character. She was full of life. I told her when she was getting ready that she won the award for the "most strange (in a good humorous way) noise made by a bride on her wedding day", but little did I know that she would win the award for "most awesome faces while goofing around with friends" by the end of the day.
Shawn and Connie acted as if they were professional models. They were so comfortable in front of the camera - having loads of fun goofing around as well as passionately embracing. It was a great wedding. I hope the pics do the day justice.
