Hello, I am getting married, and using a friend of mine that I go to school with (she is a photography major) to take my bridal photos. She has good technical skills, but is still going to need some suggestions for ideas. I want my photos to be unique and funky, to fit my artistic personality. Does anyone have any idea or suggestions, or any other photographers that I could look to or show her, for some inspiration?
These photos are also being taken with bridesmaids too, because we are getting the hairstylist to do a practice run with hair and makeup, and figured that would be a great day to get everyone together for some pre-wedding, wedding photos.

TBH there is nothing unique in bridal/wedding photography these days - virtually everything has been tried by someone.

Jinny - sorry to have to burst your bubble here but your "unique" ideas are some of the most cliched shots there are in a wedding album.
The "wistful" look at the sky has been used since the 70's that I know of and looking over her shoulder - please!!!! that has been a pose for any shot of a female since the beginning of time.
