Vermont wedding photos nightmare?
Father of the bride

To those of you who are thinking of using vermont memories photography...DONT! You get what you paid for photo wise not bad but not great... BUT they are totally unprofessional and they lack big time in the communication. I did not recieve one photo of just me and my mother, just me and my sister (who was my maid of honor) or just me and my brother on my big day... not one! I also have had the biggest nightmare with prints ever since then. I wish I had spent the extra 1000 bucks to get someone else! Lucky for me I had a wonderful wedding.. minus this nighmare of aftermath with them.

Has anyone else had problems with them?

You should file a report with all the details on RipOff report and on BBB. Make sure you include all the details and very little emotion. What the agreement was, why you felt like they were doing a bad job.

After all, if you didn't give the photographer back the form that says what pictures you want or if you didn't notice that the photographer didn't take the picture (or if the pictures were just crappy b/c you kept closing your eyes or something) that's not on the photographer. But if the photographer kept wandering outside for a smoke break or was 2 hours late and therefore couldn't take the pictures you wanted, that's on the photographer.

Good luck!

Malia & Dave's Wedding Celebration at The Grand Isle Lake House ...

Malia and Dave’s wedding celebration at the Grand Isle Lake House in Grand Isle was an event we had anticipated for over a year, since we did their engagement portrait session in Malia’s hometown (and ours), Johnson, Vermont! Malia was best friends with Veronica’s daughter Samantha, growing up, and although Malia now lives in Massachusetts, Johnson is still near and dear to her heart (and ours)! The day was sublime with temps in the 70s and abundant sunshine.

The happy couple had told us that the two most important pieces of their wedding celebration were going to be the photography and the music, and they did not disappoint us! A multi-instrumental set-up for the ceremony and a band called The Prenups for the reception.

We aren’t your typical wedding band. We are all musicians who play in original bands (ie. broke) who happen to enjoy playing weddings. The band member’s resumes include everything from touring with artists such as Graham Parker and Juliana Hatfield – to playing on Conan O’Brien and Carson Daly – to movie soundtracks such as “The Ice Harvest”, “That Thing You Do!” and “Walk Hard”.
