I am looking to make an elegant photo album using digital pictures from my wedding. The size of most photo books online are 11.5x8.75. Do you know where I can make a larger one???
with online printing services, anything bigger than size of letter paper-- the cost would be too much to afford. I nver attempted photo album size that large. And all photo printing I do at home with Roxio software. Maybe you could invest in a $700+ plotter (color) HP makes that ($1000) And it can spit out 14 inch wide in color! Personally I would go down to Kinkos and pay for the large poster size prints. That's not cheat of course, but only the pictures that are "picture perfect" to you-- I guess it would be worth it for your "perfect oversize album"
if you ever get that plotter, you might as well run a business. With the right software from Adobe and hi-end pc of course.
If I was you, Id just go to a "mom and pop" local photoshop and have them make me that special photoalbum. Al least they will finish half of it for you without you having to stress too much.

What do you think of having small 4x6 photo albums as wedding favors? I found some online that are very pretty and I could add a ribbon with our colors on it. If this is a good idea, do you think we should give them empty, or already have photos in them? Or maybe just one photo on the cover and let them fill the inside? A last question: is this good for kids/teenaged guests? Should they be given something different? Thanks!!
It is a good idea, if that's what you want and you can afford it. I am not particularly fond of the idea. Favors like that are usually left at the wedding an/or just collect dust. But! You can do more like a photo FRAME an not necessarily a whole book. Nowadays, I don't print as many photos as I did before there was digital.
Other favor ideas that guests love: homemade/local goods (like honey, jam, coockies), a slice of the wedding cake, a donation made in their name to a charity that you care about, wine, coffee, etc.

I'm 16 years old and I plan on being a photographer, but for now it's
just a major hobby of mine.
A year ago my laptop crashed and I lost all my photos, so I've had to
start all over..Right now I have a ton of photos on my laptop that I
can't lose. (A couples engagement photos, Wedding photos, and
some other pictures of people that I still haven't given their photo's to
yet..)
So...I'm terrified of losing them! lol
I got an online album at Myphotoalbum.com, but then I learned that
you can't save the photos back onto your computer unless you
pay a fee..
so I'm looking for a free site where I can download as many photos as
I want, and I can re-save them back onto my laptop if something is
to happen to it again...
Any sites???
Thanks!
You might be better off just buying a USB hard drive and back them up on that. Store it away from your laptop.
Chris
Want something very top quality and am willing to pay for it. But it seems none of the online wedding album sites have the albums that in between the pages have those tissue / rice paper sheets that protect the photos. Can't understand why they are so hard to find?
P.S. I live in California.
try ebay!!! I found some on there
I'm looking for a website that allows you to upload your professional wedding photos free, so that my relatives that live far away can view the pictures. I'm looking for one specifically for weddings photos, not something like flicker or photobucket. Anyone know of any? Thank you!
