I was looking into having a photo booth or caricature artist at the wedding. Any other fun ideas you have seen?
Polaroid camera guest/photo book. Have an attendant take someone's picture and the person can scribble a cute message on it. When done place the reception pictures in your photo album. Perhaps hire an illusionist to do card tricks instead of playing a slide show.

for guests to take pictures, sign and use as a guest book in lieu of a tradtional guest book. anyone know???? thanks!
Depends on the company. I've seen them from $650-$1000+ around here (Michigan). I've heard people have a lot of fun with them!
Fits many common photo booth strips
Made of thick 2mm acrylic with rounded edges for a quality feel and appearance
The ideal way to display your photo booth pictures
I'm getting married in November 2009 and I wanted to rent a photo booth for the reception. I'm a fun, quirky person so it matches perfectly with my personality. My only concern is that they are about $1000-1200 for three to four hours. Is this normal? And does anybody have companies that they can suggest. I thought about doing the disposable cameras all around the reception but I like the idea of a photo booth better. I'm in the Louisville, KY area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
We went to a wedding that the bride and groom had a camera and table set-up with polaroid photos, a scrap book and pens and markers. People took photos of each other and entered them into the scrapbook themselves with a little message.
Creates priceless photos and memories!
Great for weddings, birthdays, parties, and more!
Constructed of heavyweight card stock
Does anyone know how much photobooths for weddings cost to rent? Also any suggestions or recommendations for the greater los angeles area?
I looked into this way back when I started planning mine, and they are expensive! it was like $500 or something like that.
But, I've seen a few things in wedding magazines where you can make your own photo booth by draping some fabric as a back-drop and setting up a camera with a clicker or automatic timer on it. Way cheaper, and it could look really cute. Also, if you use a digital camera you can have a small printer there so guests can take them home with them. This might be helpful: http://blog.evite.com/evite/2007/10/get- ready-for-y.html
Also, I went to a wedding where the couple had a polaroid camera out. guests would take their pictures and then write a note on the bottom and they had a cork-board so that everyone could post their pictures. I was really cute! They did that instead of a guest book. Unfortunately, Polaroid stopped making the film, so it has gotten really expensive since then. But, you might be able to find some for cheap if you search around for it.
Good luck!
I am interested in possibly renting a photo booth, like the ones at the malls, for a wedding in New Hampshire. Looking for info.
