Wedding Photo Collage

I'm looking for some creative ideas for photo displays at a wedding rehearsal dinner. I'm looking for something other than the typical photo collage of the couple in their younger years. Any suggestions?

My fiance's cousin did a big scrapbook of their lives and relationship, it was really cute and really simple so it wasn't time consuming ( =

My friend had pictures of the two of them doing similar things at the stages of their lives in frames on each table. One table had a pic of each of them learning to ride a bike, another in their scouting uniforms, one had pics of them from their HS graduation, etc. It was cute.

My fiance and I are getting married in June of next year, and right now, I'm working on putting the wedding portfolio together. We both lost loved ones ( his brother and my father), and we want to do something to remember them. I wanted to put together a photo collage, but am having trouble finding somewhat short quotes for it.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks.

a girl I know went to a wedding a few years ago & the brides grandfather & the grooms uncle had died not long before & they had a little fish bowl with two fish in it next to the wishing well & had a little poem in a frame on the table as well as in the ceremony programs . I can't recall what it was - she told me but it was a while ago , something about love coming & going , passing & staying but never neglected or forgotten . it was really nice .

maybe for your fiance's brother , even if you don't have a memorial , when your fiance says a few words at the reception , possibly have him say something like he wishes his best man could've been there but you know he is there in spirit .

Im trying to make thank yous for our wedding. What I want is one big picture overall, and then 3 smaller ones stack on top of one another on either side. I dont have much for software editing tools, I have Photoshop 7.0 and Image Ready 7.0. Is this something I can do on there?

Easy

Open photoshop and create a new file (size it to the final print size you will be using)

Open the images you have then copy and paste them into layers on the new file.

Since these are in layers, you can resize them, and move them around as you see fit.

Finally, "flatten' all layers in the file you created, safe it and then either print it or include it as an image attachement.

Basically I have 35 digital pictures of my friends and 25 sheets of photo paper. I want to adjust the sizes of some and print more than one pic onto a sheet of paper and don't know how nor do I have the software. (I have a macbook). What program could I use that will let me print more than one picture on a sheet and shrink the picture size? Thank you

You have a Macbook? Then you have iPhoto already. You can do it with that program. It's very easy.
