Wedding Photo Guest Book

I'd like it to hold 4x6 photos (not polaroid) and be unique and cute. Has anyone found one that is just ideal?

I bought an 8x8, 24page photo album and plan to use it as my guest book. It's nothing more than 8x8 white sheets of bound scrapbook paper.

I'll have a photo taken of each family as they arrive and later print the photos and place them on the proper pages. On each page, the guests will write something to me and my fiance. How do I keep our guests from writing a book or writing so large that I won't be able to add their pic later?

Should I draw a 4x6 rectangle on each page and write "do not write" on it? Should I have 4x6 cardboard cutout that my guests can place on the page and write around? Should I have index cards for them to write on and then mount the index cards as well as the pictures later?

Any other suggestions?

Definitely block off the section for the photo, either with a big post-it or drawing an outline as you suggested. Do not rely on including a note or instructions near the guest book...that won't do it!!

I'm looking for an online store that sells the Adesso Albums that use polaroid photos. A friend of a friend had them at a wedding as an alternative to the traditional wedding guest book and they were awesome!

Hello! Those photo guest books are brilliant you'll love them. I bought mine at a site in the US and the postage was over $100. I contacted adesso albums and was told that they are available through a website called http://www.instantalbums.com.au

Make sure your guests know about the album and get extra film. I had eight black pages cos people took doubles and I ran out of film! Have a great wedding!
