My MOH is making a photo slideshow for my upcoming wedding, and she has asked me to give her one song for me, one for my future hubby, and one for both of us together!
We've picked his, it's "Guys like me" by Eric Church. We have a few ideas for our song together, like maybe "At Last" by Etta James (although it will also be the song for our first dance, so I'm still thinking about that one).
So now I need a good song for my pictures (childhood through adulthood). A few that I've thought about are "Who I am" by Jessica Andrews, or maybe "Baby Girl" by Sugarland... but I'm not "in love" with them! haha. Does anyone have any good ideas for a song for just my (girl) "growing up" pictures?
Oh, and we're already using "This one's for the girls" by Martina McBride for the Bouquet Toss... so I'd rather not use it again.
I guess I should have also mentioned this:
I love the song "My little girl" by Tim McGraw, but I worried about using it because in the lyrics it says something about someday someone's going to come and ask me for your hand... and I won't say yes to him unless I know he's the half that makes you whole (which is cute) but then later it says between me and you, he won't be good enough (or something like that). I didn't want it to look like my father doesn't like my hubby to be. HAHA. Does that make sense?
Too bad though, it's a beautiful song! :/

We're thinking of doing a photo montage that would last 1-2 songs at our wedding reception- during or right after dinner. It would be pictures of us growing up and our friends that will be there at the reception. Have you see this done before? Did people enjoy it?
