I recently acquired a very old, but very beautiful Yashica FR-II Film camera. It came with a ton of lenses, a couple flashes, a case, the manual, etc. It needs a battery though and it is so old, I don't know where to begin to look for one. Also, I am not familiar with film cameras, I know, it is very unfortunate. What types of film would you reccomend I experiment with first? Thanks!
My father-in-law has an old 35mm Yashica from the 60's. We recently went and found him a battery and had to go to a specialty battery store to find it. It was about $10 for the battery and I can't remember what the name of the battery was. I suggest you go to a battery store or a camera store. The camera store may not have the battery but they may be able to tell you at least which one you need. I know that when I looked up the battery B&H did carry one.

I have a Yashica FR 35mm SLR and I need to get a case for it- either one that will fit it and then would fit in a bad, or a camera bag that would also carry some books or a laptop. I am hoping it wouldn't be too expensive either, as I can't afford much at the moment. Any tips are welcome. Thanks!
Here are some options to consider:
1. Get a camera bag that is small and holds your camera with the lens on it.
(see the first link below that will show you an example of such a bag, the Tamrac 5513 Adventure Zoom 3 Holster Bag for $20). Many of these bags are small enough to fit into another bigger case. I have often had a bag like this in my carry on luggage. Also works with a large variety of cameras so it could very likely stay useful with any other cameras you have or get later.
2. A backpack that can hold camera, laptop, and likely some more items.
(see the 2nd link to a Lowepro Fastpack 250 Backpack for about $75)
I also included some links to websites where you can shop what options are best for you. Also included 3 website links to three known name camera bag makers, Lowepro, Tamrac, and Tenba.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

It is a 50mm, and I have no clue how to work it. It hasn't been used in at least 5 years, so is there anything I need to do? If you give me a website, it will be great!

Test to see if everything is in working shape. You'll probably need to replace the batteries (two LR44 or two SR44, according to the manual). Check to see if any of the light seals and mirror paddings are sticky. If they are you'll need to replace them or get them replaced -- you should consider a CLA if it's really bad. Shoot a roll to see if everything comes out ok.

I have just been given my Dads' old camera but I don't know what type of film I need for it. I bought some cheap film but it won't fit inside the back. Do you need different film for a SLR?
The camera is a 35mm camera, so any 35mm film will work in it. You can find an on-line manual for the camera at <http://www.butkus.org/chinon/yashica/yas hica_fx-d/yashica_fx-d-splash.htm>. I suggest you read it before you try to load the camera again.
I connected my Yashica EZ7032 with my pc which was infected with virus to download pics but i lost my camera display. I tried to take help from local market but couldn't get any...
Whereas other functions of my camera are working correctly.
Please can anyone guide me to restore my camera LCD Display back.

Things That Aren't Worth Trying - Platform
This must be the first year I’ve ever known about London Fashion Week before it actually happened. Normally I’m not aware of it until all the party photos come out on websites afterwards and I wonder why I wasn’t invited to the ‘boring’ parties with free booze and tons of models, so I too could complain about how vacuous my Thursday night was how tired I am of going to parties I don’t want to go to. In actuality, Thursday is my regular night to eat fish finger sandwiches, so they come as quite a highlight of the week.
Anyone who’s ever been to a corporate party with free booze knows how fucking awful they are and how everyone there would gladly sell their own friends just to secure another bottle of Tuborg. In fact, that’s wrong, anyone who’s been to one will have got completely smashed and had the best time of their life. It’s the second time onwards where you see the dull side of weak ‘free parties’. The thought of having to go to a whole week of such soul-destroying parties is probably what pushed Alexander McQueen over the edge. So that you don’t find yourself in a similar situation, here are a few other things that just aren’t worth the hassle of trying:
